To view the preceeding files you must have RealPlayer. The link above takes you to RealPlayer's website where you can download a free version. For best performance on a LAN like the one at Rice, it is recommended that you select the "Office LAN" speed for your connection. You can do this either when you install the program or by selecting the "Connection" section under "Preferences" in a previously-installed version. Newer versions of the Player such as the "RealOne" Player list the option under "Bandwidth" in the "Connection" listing of "Preferences."

If you are having trouble identifying the wasps due to the size of the video clips, simply scale the frame 2xs for a larger picture. The images will be of poorer resolution, but you will be better able to make out the identifying color bands.

Note that the before and after designations of the Polistes bellicosus clips denote video taken before and after queen removal. This information is not provided for Polistes carolinus.
